Tristan turns the big 3 months!

Here is Tristan at 4 1/2 weeks:
At 8 1/2 weeks:
And at 3 months (13 weeks):

He's such a cutie pie!!  He is definitely a lot more interactive now and we are enjoying playing with him.  And I LOVE being able to be with him at home as much as I am able to be now.  At first, I was really doubting the timing of grad school work/teaching/baby, but now it really has worked out for the best for us as a family!

I am going to model this post after Angie's 2 month post about her sweet baby girl, Kali!

Tristan at 3 months:

You are sleeping on average 8 hours a night and sometimes you sleep 10 and give mom and dad some much needed alone time!!

You LOVE your nighttime routine of eating, bathtime, reading time and then praying!  You are starting to look at the pictures in the books more and you like to look at the animals on the quilt your Aunt Lindz made you!  Plus, you don't even fuss anymore when you get put down to go to sleep for the night!

You don't like pacifiers at all and you're still not a big fan of your swing, but you do love being in your bouncer, playing on your mat and you love pushing your snail around now!

You love to go outside and be in your stroller, actually you calm down whenever the door is opened and you are in your car seat because you get to go outside!  We're trying to get you more comfortable with hats and sunglasses bc well, you live in the Valley of the Sun!

You would love to be closer to your other family members too and I'm sure there's times where you really do wish you were going off to grandma's!

You definitely prefer and do better on a schedule.  You like to wake up between 6:30 - 7:30am and then you are eating 5oz, sometimes 5 1/2oz every 3 hours.  Your longest nap is in the afternoon around 2pm, but you also like to go back to sleep after waking up.

That's about all I can think of for now.  We love you very much and even dad has a hard time walking away from you at the gym's child care center!  But you are doing great at the child care center there - everyone thinks you're super cute and they love to hold and snuggle with you, especially when you smile and then pretend to be shy - you look like you're flirting!  I guess you learn that pretty young, huh?
